Vizgen MERSCOPE is a high-resolution, in situ spatial genomics platform designed to map and quantify gene expression directly within intact tissue samples at subcellular resolution.
It is built around MERFISH (Multiplexed Error-Robust Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization) technology, which allows researchers to design custom gene panels targeting up to 1,000 genes and 6 proteins simultaneously in tissue sections.
Limitations
Users are currently limited to the analysis of 1,000 genes within a user-defined tissue area (up to 1 cm2).
