Celebrating the beauty of life-changing medical research

Art of Science is an annual competition and exhibition of still and moving images captured by WEHI scientists during their research into cancer, infection and immunity and healthy development and ageing.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of Art of Science, which was founded in 1997 by former WEHI director Professor Suzanne Cory. The competition is open to all WEHI staff and students.

Guest Judge for Art of Science in 2022 is Corey Tutt OAM, a proud Kamilaroi man and CEO and founder of DeadlyScience.

2022 Guest Judge

The Guest Judge for Art of Science in 2022 is Corey Tutt OAM, a proud Kamilaroi man and CEO and founder of DeadlyScience.

DeadlyScience provides teaching and learning resources in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) to over 400 remote and regional schools across Australia, with a particular focus on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

In 2022, WEHI and DeadlyScience announced a partnership to boost the engagement of Indigenous school students with education and careers in STEM.
