Advancing precision medicine for Parkinson’s

Scholarships and funding

A major goal of PACE is to develop and support the next generation of outstanding researchers to align with the centre’s goals of enabling precision medicine approaches to treat Parkinson’s disease.

The following two opportunities are currently available to researchers who are members of PACE partner laboratories and meet the selection criteria. Application forms can be obtained from participating laboratory heads.

The Max Sutherland Travel Scholarship

Named in memory of WEHI’s first Parkinson’s consumer, Max Sutherland, these travel scholarships support attendance and participation at leading Parkinson’s research conferences and collaborative visits to partner centre laboratories.

Awards may be used for conference registration, transportation, accommodation, and a living allowance. Funds will not cover bench fees or research costs.

Applications must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the expected travel date. The number of awards allocated in each round will be subject to availability of funds.
