About

With over 25 years of experience in Laboratory Animal Science across Australia and the UK, I oversee the institute’s animal facilities at WEHI.

As a committed leader in team development, I focus on fostering professional growth through education and training. I am dedicated to this field and highly value the critical role that ethically conducted animal research plays in advancing scientific discovery.

In my role, I provide strategic leadership for the Bioservices department, ensuring alignment with WEHI’s research goals while continuously improving operational efficiency, compliance, and service delivery. I work collaboratively across the institute to shape long-term facility planning, implement best practices, and support innovative research.

It is a privilege to lead a team that upholds the highest standards of animal care and welfare. I strive to foster a culture of care, ensuring that both staff and animals are supported in an environment that prioritises wellbeing. In line with the ANZCCART Openness Agreement, we actively promote transparency in animal research to encourage public understanding.
