What is the 3MT? 

The official 3MT is an international competition where students are challenged to present their research to a lay audience in 3 minutes using only 1 slide. The WEHI 3MT competition showcases student research projects from around the institute, presented in an engaging and compelling short format. Students have the challenge of hooking the audience in just 3 minutes about their exciting research project.

Students will be judged, with amazing prizes on offer. The audience is encouraged to vote for their favourite in the People’s choice award.

All are welcome to come support our student presenters. Afternoon tea will be provided following the competition to celebrate the winners.
