Dr McCoy is a Professor in the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary and holds the Killam Memorial Chair. She is a mucosal immunologist that specializes in the study of host-microbial interactions in health and disease, with a specific focus on elucidating the underlying mechanisms by which the microbiome influences the development and function of the immune system.

In this presentation, she will highlight the work her lab has been doing using gnotobiotic animal models to define microbes and microbial-derived metabolites that modulate immune function during homeostasis, inflammation, and immunotherapy.

All welcome!
