This presentation will explore tools for AI development with practical examples, including building robust data pipelines with Apache Airflow, model tracking with MLflow and incorporating data management for AI systems with OpenMetaData. This will be relevant to traditional machine learning models, deep learning and modern agentic systems. This will suit beginners starting their data science or AI journey and those more experienced looking to build scalable computational workflows.

Glen Charlton is the Lead Data Scientist for the Advanced Analytics and AI Platform and oversees the Data Science services provided by Intersect Australia. He has over 10 years of experience applying Data Science and Electronics Engineering to commercial and research projects primarily within health and environmental sciences. Glen established a research track record demonstrating data science application across multiple sciences, focusing on improving the efficiency and capability of research projects to conduct novel and practically relevant research.
