With expertise in leukaemia biology, functional genomics, and precision medicine, Dr Sadras is dedicated to uncovering the mechanisms that drive blood cancers and developing targeted treatments to improve patient outcomes. Her research focuses on understanding how B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (B-ALL) develops resistance to treatment; identifying leukaemia-specific vulnerabilities; and creating precise research models that mirror patient tumours. By understanding how leukaemia cells evade treatment, Dr Sadras’ and her team can design new therapeutic strategies that improve long-term outcomes.
