Become a Snow PhD Scholar

The Snow Centre has dedicated funding for PhD scholarships to support early-career researchers in both clinical and basic science disciplines.

Researchers and clinicians at the Snow Centre are immersed in a rich systems immunology environment, gaining hands on experience with cutting-edge technologies, computational modelling, and translational science. This environment fosters rapid integration of research findings into clinical decision-making.

The centre offers a multidisciplinary scholarship to bring together trainees from immunology, genomics, clinical medicine, bioinformatics and data science. By embedding students within collaborative teams across lab and clinic, the program equips early-career researchers with the skills and knowledge to bridge the gap between discovery and patient care.

Every day, clinicians encounter challenges that spark important research questions. Through the Snow Centre’s Clinician PhD Scholarship, you can turn those questions into research that improves patient outcomes.

Bring us your project ideas

We’ll work with you to explore how your project aligns with the Centre’s research priorities and expertise. In partnership with the Royal Melbourne Hospital, the Snow Centre offers a unique opportunity for clinicians to undertake research in immune health and immune-mediated diseases. You’ll work alongside leading researchers and clinicians, access world-class facilities and technologies, and combine patient samples with advanced immune profiling to better understand disease.
