Advanced Histotechnology Facility

Through its examination of tissue structures at a microscopic level, histology aids medical research by unveiling intricate details of disease pathology, helping to guide personalised treatment strategies.

WEHI’s Advanced Histotechnology Facility provides diverse expertise in human, experimental and comparative anatomical pathology for external collaborators and researchers interested in assessing tissue/cell morphological changes in various diseases. By leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning in our facility, we are experiencing increased diagnostic accuracy, faster analysis, and heightened precision.

Our facility operates similarly to a diagnostic service, including quality control measurements and timely, cost-effective, and high-end-quality results for users.
