The Metcalf Scholarship Fund helps bright young scientists kick-start their careers. The sooner these students are in the lab, the sooner we’ll all see the benefits of their research.

We created the Metcalf Scholarship Fund in honour of beloved institute researcher Professor Don Metcalf, who passed away in 2014.

Don was an outstanding cancer researcher, who made discoveries that have helped save the lives of millions of people. He was also passionate about supporting the next generation of scientists following in his footsteps.
