I am a fundraising professional with more than 20 years experience in fundraising, marketing and management roles in both the not-for-profit and commercial sectors.

I have implemented a wide range of successful and award winning fundraising programs, including direct mail, merchandising, major gifts, major events and planned giving programs. 

In total I have raised over $40 million in the medical research, arts and youth sectors.

Most significant awards

2012 International Mobius Award - Best of Show
Mobius Awards are one of the world’s oldest independent international advertising competitions. The award was for a direct mail campaign for the Arts Centre Melbourne.

2010 FIA Travel Scholarship from Perpetual Trustees to attend the National Fundraising Convention in the United Kingdom.

2004 Best Practice Charity Award, Ethical Investor Magazine awarded to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation

2004 Bronze Pyramid Award for Excellence, Promotional Products Association International
This international award was in recognition of the 2003 Jelly Baby merchandising campaign for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

2000 Australian Sports Medal, Office of the Prime Minister
In recognition of contribution to the Active Australia health promotion program

Service to the community

I am one of two Fundraising Institute tutors in Victoria delivering industry-accredited courses in fundraising and development, including the Certificate of Fundraising and Essentials training. The Fundraising Institute of Australia is the national peak body for fundraising professionals, with 1700 individual members and 160 organisational members.
