Details of project
We have shown that Tgfb, a cytokine essential for the differentiation of IL-17-producing CD4 T cells (Th17) and regulatory T cells, suppresses the transcription factor Blimp1. Blimp1 is a master regulator of B and T cell differentiation.
We aim to elucidate the signaling pathway, that mediates Tgfb mediated Blimp1 repression in T cells.
