Research Technician - VBCRC
An opportunity exists for a Research Technician to join the Victorian Breast Cancer Research Consortium Laboratory for a period of six months to cover maternity leave.
Research within the VBCRC Laboratory centres on the molecular and developmental biology of the mammary gland and molecular mechanisms underlying breast cancer. The lab is currently studying transcriptional regulators important for mammary development and in mammary stem cells.
Applicants should have a BSc, preferably with Honours, and have experience with molecular and cellular biology techniques; these include tissue culture and cell transfection assays, recombinant DNA cloning and immunohistochemistry.
