HTCS frequently asked questions
What steps to follow to get your project prepared for HTCS?
How much does it cost?
Estimates of cost are heavily assay technology-dependent and also on the amount of assay development needed to be performed dependent on how much has already been developed in the project originator's lab. We strongly recommend prior discussions and meetings to enable us to ascertain a fixed fee-for-service quotation.
How long does it take?
Assay development lead time into a primary screening campaign is once again dependent on how much has already been developed in the project originator's lab but is generally 2-6 months in duration. The primary screen itself may only require 2-4 weeks dependent on assay technology format, library size to be screened and plate density (96, 384 or 1536-well).
Can we access the chemical library only?
If the originator requires access to only the chemicals in our library for screening in their existing facility, this can be arranged via transportation of library copy plates and the cost is dependent on the number of chemicals required, the plate format and type as well as time required to be ready for shipment.
