Dual Function Flow Cytometry Software in 32K Words: A Progress Report

The Flow Cytometry software described at this forum two years ago has been under constant development to improve ease of operation, the range of data output forms available, data acquisition speed (in real time terms) and efficiency of data storage and retrieval.
Specific changes made in these directions have included curve fitting for background subtraction and DNA distribution parameterization, diagonal gating for reprocessing of LIST files, multiple forms of contour plotting, extraction of single parameter slices from contour files and a pseudo-directory program for keeping track of file usage on each of sixty removable disc cartridges.
