In addition to the 7 THEMED sessions, one OPEN session and one POSTER session (as previously advertised), this 3-day meeting will also include a WORSHOP and a special BABESIA SYMPOSIUM.
The Workshop on 'FUTURE FUNDING OF MALARIA RESEARCH' will be
centered around
the findings of the PRISM report and presented by J.
Anderson (The Wellcome
Trust);
other participants in the Workshop will include: Howard
Engers (WHO/TDR), Paul
Hagan
(INCO-DC Programme, European Union), David Nabarro (ODA),
Michael Davies (MRC),
Catherine Davies (The Wellcome Trust) and John Horton
(SmithKline Beecham).
The Worshop will take place as an evening session on Monday
15th September and
should lead to a lively discussion !
The BABESIA SYMPOSIUM will look at 'Similarities and
Differences between Malaria
and Babesiosis'
